On That Day

"God will invade. But I wonder whether people who ask God to interfere openly and directly in our world quite realise what it will be like when He does. When that happens, it is the end of the world. When the author walks onto the stage the play is over. God is going to invade, all right: but what is the good of saying you are on His side then, when you see the whole natural universe melting away like a dream and something else - something it never entered your head to conceive - comes crashing in; something so beautiful to some of us and so terrible to others that none of us will have any choice left? For this time it will be God without disguise; something so overwhelming that it will strike either irresistible love or irresistible horror into every creature. It will be too late then to choose your side. There is no use saying you choose to lie down when it has become impossible to stand up. That will not be the time for choosing; it will be the time when we discover which side we really have chosen, whether we realised it before or not. Now, today, this moment, is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It will not last forever. We must take it or leave it."~C. S. Lewis

Scripture tells us "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. God sent His son to die for our sins. We do not deserve salvation, but Jesus took our punishment on the cross. Christ will return to call His children home. No one knows the day or time, but we must be prepared. Some deny Christ now and upon His return they will see the error of their ways.

Each day we are given the choice to follow Christ or be of this world. I can assure you that letting the world and flesh lead is a road filled with struggles and heartache. God gives rest and provisions to His children. The road is not an easy one, but the hope of a future in heaven makes these trials worth the wait.

Who do you follow? Are you tired and want rest? Do you want to have "irresistible love or irresistible horror" upon Christ's return? I know that upon His return I will be struck with "irresistible love" for my savior. I want that for all of you reading this post or my blog.  If you do not know where to begin then comment below and I will contact you.  If you have questions, then please ask them.   Do not wait or it could be too late.

Lord, I pray that anyone reading this is touched by your grace and mercy. That they see following You provides more than what this earthly life can give. Please  let them be bold followers of your precious Son.  In Jesus sweet and precious name I pray. Amen!

Blessings,
K
